The charming village station of Crest-Voland, opposite the Aravis, welcomes you.

It is claimed that the fleeing 'Sarrazins' found refuge here at the end of the 10th century.

The commune became autonomous in 1640.

A tourism miracle in 1960 allowed the village to prosper.
